Hi I’m Paige!
I’ve loved fashion from a young age lol
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion design.
I love fashion and the creativity that the fashion industry holds, but fast fashion, over production, and enormous amounts of waste that comes along with it is daunting and saddening. Because of this I was a bit unsure of where I would find myself post grad. Where could I work that aligns with the change and standards I value and want to see in this industry? For me, bridal became the perfect place to combat that. My practice is small batch and custom only. The majority of my fabrics are repurposed. I made my second wedding dress completely out of thrifted vintage gowns from the 80’s.
I started working in the bridal industry in 2024. Seemingly by chance I was dm’d on instagram and asked to make a wedding dress. I was shocked and excited and accepted the challenge. I fell in love with the practice and grew from there :)
I’m a true art kid at heart, so I have started taking up artist residencies my first being at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts in 2025. I’m creating a visual arts installation inspired by queer married couples… more on that later. I think I’ll always see myself as an artist first, it informs the way I approach creating bridal garments in a huge way.
Now I’m a bridal stylist, seamstress and designer. I expect to be in the bridal space for a looooonnngggg time. There’s so much whimsey, fun, beauty, and room to grow here. I love the work I do and the people I meet. Even if I’m not creating your dress or doing your alterations thanks so much for being here and I hope you’ve enjoyed it :)
